Meet the tool you didn’t know your kitchen was missing until now: the Danish dough whisk. (The Danes call it a brødpisker, or “bread whip.”)
While doughs quickly gum up wooden spoons and balloon whisks, they’re no match for the looped wire of a Danish dough whisk. This elegant whisk incorporates flour and liquid easily without overmixing, so that cinnamon roll dough, biscuit dough, and even pancake batter comes together in a snap.
Using a Danish dough whisk can eliminate other baking frustrations too, like those pesky pockets of unincorporated flour and unevenly distributed clumps of fruits or nuts. And perhaps best of all, it’s quick and easy to clean after using!
These whisks are made with high-quality stainless steel wire and an eco-friendly rubberwood handle, harvested from rubber trees that have completed their latex-producing cycle that would otherwise go to waste.
Once you add this dough whisk to your arsenal of kitchen tools, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it!
I didn't know if I would like it and didn't know what the hype was all about, but I thought I would give it a try since I had a coupon. Boy, was I glad I did! Never seen anything that would whip some things up so quick and easy. Worth Every Penny!!
I purchased this as a gift for a dear friend who LOVES to bake! She bakes cakes for all her friends and coworkers birthdays as well as other special occasions. She was very happy with this whisk, especially the ease of cleaning!!
Whipped up a batter easily and clean up was fairly simple. Only down side is because of the wooden handle I hesitate to put it in the dishwasher.
I love this whisk. It makes mixing easy and through.
Once I got accustomed to the "new whisk", I found it worked quickly and blended much better than the traditional whisk. I'm really glad I got it!!

I used my new whisk for making a cornmeal dish called nachinka.
You have to constantly stir while you encorporate the milk and eggs into the cornmeal on the stove. It was fantastic, no sticking, no burning, a perfect smoothness to the dish. I’m looking forward to using it for anything that needs a good mixing.
I was surprised at this being as large as it was and thought I wouldn’t have use for it, but it’s great for mixing stevia into my plain yogurt and making sauces and gravies in the instant pot! It’s nice not to have a lump in the middle of a traditional whisk!
